Peperomia Rubella

Peperomia rubella is a great miniature species from Jamaica. The tiny, fleshy, elliptical, leaves are dark olive green on the top and red on the back. The stems are red. It is sometimes called "Itsy Bitsy".

Rubella is very sensitive to overwatering and underwatering too. Before the next watering, the soil needs to dry out a little. However, underwatering isn't as harmful as too much water, so if you once have forgotten about watering the plant, it's not a big deal.
