Adenium, also known as desert rose, is a stunning succulent native to Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. With beautiful blooms and unique caudex formations, it thrives in sunny, warm conditions and well-draining soil. Adeniums are low-maintenance plants, requiring occasional pruning and careful watering to prevent root rot. They add exotic beauty to indoor and outdoor gardens, making them a popular choice among plant enthusiasts worldwide.
Why Grafted?
- Faster Growth: Grafted adeniums tend to grow faster because they are usually grown from mature branches or stems grafted onto a seedling rootstock. This means they can flower sooner.
- Predictable Characteristics: Since grafted adeniums are clones of the parent plant, you can expect them to have similar characteristics including flower color, size, and growth habit.
- Less Prone to Disease: Grafted adeniums are generally more resilient against diseases compared to seed-grown ones.
